The US-based company soft-launched its sneakers last year, but it has only recently introduced a ‘Triple Black Edition’ model of the original ‘EP 01’ sneaker as an enhanced version of the original. The sneakers, like the originals, make use of a patent-pending technology with an integrated audio control implanted in the center of the sole, which synchs audio from any connected device through Bluetooth to your feet, resulting in a full-on immersive music experience on the go. Also available is the ability to customize your own experiences using an app, which allows you to change the color of lights implanted within the sneaker (yep, they light up). In addition, don’t be concerned about the shoes being damaged if you happen to spill something on them because the shoes are waterproof and have a battery life of more than six hours.

Consider how it would feel to be able to feel every beat in your body as you do in your ears. According to reports, you’ll feel the vibrations from the guitar as if you’re standing right next to the artist.
The sneaker was invented by Brock Seiler, who works in the music industry and was inspired by feeling beats while sitting in on recording studio sessions. The team behind the sneaker is led by Susan Paley, who previously served as CEO of Beats by Dre, so they know a thing or two about taking audio to an entirely new level.
But this isn’t the first time smart shoes technology has appeared on the market, such as Nike’s self-lacing function, which detects pressure when you place your foot inside, or Digitsole’s shoe, which is loaded with technology that can analyze health, fatigue, posture, steps, and calories. DropLabs, on the other hand, are the first-ever smart shoes that have been designed exclusively for music enthusiasts – specifically, electronic music fans.
Take use of the sound to elevate your musical experiences – whether it’s music, movies, or gaming — and get ready to rumble by absorbing the sound through your entire body.
You can get the sneakers here.
