Purple Fly, Project X, and Who Knocks have teamed together for a one-of-a-kind collaboration that will bring together the worlds of NFTs, high fashion, and art.
On November 22nd, they will unveil an exclusive NFT collection curated by designers that have worked for some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses, like Prada, Burberry, Moschino, and Etro. A collaborative effort between each skilled designer and Purple Fly will result in the creation of an original style for the digital collectible.
The NFT pool was officially launched on November 16th with a collection from South Korean dance music legend DJ SODA, which was designed by Damiano Clemente of Dsquared2 and was available for purchase. The series comprises of ten extremely uncommon NFTs and allows users to acquire a section of the design rather than the entire piece for a discounted price.
Founded in 2020 with a mission to foster collaborations across all art forms while connecting music to visually appealing images, Purple Fly is the world’s first NFT-fueled independent record company, with a purpose of supporting collaborations across all art forms. DJ Diesel and BLVD., Fatman Scoop, Klaas, and other artists have released music on the imprint.
Purple Fly fulfills its pledge to providing DJ SODA—and the other musicians on the label who are releasing NFTs—with 15 percent of the label’s royalties with each purchase.
Consumers can expect a full range of NFT drops to be released in the coming months as a result of this extensive collaboration. On December 14th, dance music producer Futuristic Polar Bears will release a collaborative album with MasterCraft Boats UK and Moschino designer Stefano Lo Muzio, titled “MasterCraft Boats UK x Moschino.” Ms. Puiyi, a Malaysian influencer, will then release a track through Purple Fly and collaborate with Johanna Armstrong of Burberry for their New Fashion Tuesday (NFT) launch on January 14th, 2022.
