Track of the Week #5: Lick – Tell Me Where
The Deadbeats label has consistently delivered high-quality releases recently, including several notable releases and their fifth compilation album, We Are Deadbeats Vol. 5. Amidst this wave of innovative bass music, the announcement of a liquid DnB EP from Deadbeats veteran, LICK, was a welcome surprise. The pre-release single, “Tell Me Where,” offered a preview of the EP’s smooth sound, and the full EP, Reflections, is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Lick is known for his rich, sweeping midtempo tracks. This release showcases his talent for creating pleasing soundscapes. With two full-length albums already released and collaborations with notable artists such as The Glitch Mob and Riot Games, Lick is an artist to watch.
