Only 25 copies of the record were created and they were all auctioned off on VinylBlade.com, last April 7, for a 24-hour period.
Bids were accepted for the blind auction, which was open to the public. The auction has finally come to a close, with the copies being sold to the top 25 bidders.
According to the website, “Do not use a Vinyl Blade on a saw. It is not intended for use as a functional saw blade and is not rated for such usage. In the event that you attempt to use Vinyl Blade on a saw, you could suffer significant harm or death.”
When using record players, it is advised that you handle them with care.
The record was created in collaboration with the art group and mobile application MSCHF.
