La Femme - Midnight Rebels

Sya, Hullera, and More to Play At la Femme in Kuala Lumpur

At the very first La Femme all-female hip-hop showcase in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian rappers Sya, Hullera, and others are scheduled to take the stage.

On the 26th of June, the concert that is being put on by Waka Malaysia will feature 11 different musicians performing live at the Mercury Space venue in Kuala Lumpur. In addition to Sya and Hullera, the lineup also includes Lil Asian Thiccie, Kayda, Sophiarazk, Bubu Natassia, Maruxa Lynd, Mia Lateefa, Killamisha, Halluxinasi, and Anati.

Rap collective Citybois Worldwide‘s sole female member, Tashey, will serve as the event’s emcee.

Tickets can be purchased for RM40 through the Linktree on the Mercury Space website. They are also sponsoring a contest called “Dress2KillTikTok Reels Challenge,” which will end tomorrow (June 25) and will award one free ticket to each of five different people.

In the meantime, Sya, who was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 for Asia in this year, said on her Instagram account that during her performance, she will be playing some tracks that have not yet been released publicly.

In advance of this performance, Hullera will make an appearance at the Sungei Wang Music Festival today (June 24), among other musicians such as Noh Salleh, Lunadira, and others. She has also released a handful of collaborations this year, including one called “SHMOKE WIMME” which she did with DJ Ziqq and another called “BASIKAL” which was a collaboration with THELIONCITYBOY and featured Singaporean rapper Akeem Jahat.
