While the in-person shopping experience has suffered significantly since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, Roland is attempting to change the way consumers interact with their products through innovative technology.
This aptly named Audience Specific Experience (ASX), which allows stores to be tailored to the preferences of customers at the touch of a button, is essential in delivering a legendary electronic music instrument manufacturer’s experience to customers. It is possible to customize the audio, video, and lighting to meet the specific needs of each customer, allowing them to become even more immersed throughout their visit. In addition to the ambiance improvements, Roland will have product experts on hand to answer questions and provide hands-on demonstrations, among other things.
Only ten Roland stores currently offer the ASX, which can be found in the United States, Glasgow, Montreal, Beijing, Sydney, and So Paulo. The ASX is available in only ten Roland stores. The company, on the other hand, intends to expand the format into more stores starting in the year 2022.
