Hybrid Fury: The Need to Breathe
Hybrid Fury, a Filipino electronic rock trio, formed with a shared goal: to push their creative boundaries beyond their typical musical comfort zones. The band comprises three talented musicians with diverse backgrounds:
Band Members and Their Backgrounds
- Jared Celemin: A member of the electronic band Curse & Bless, and a Chicago-based music producer with experience collaborating with major Philippine labels.
- Theo Martel: A self-taught electronic dance music producer who also serves as a music producer and sound engineer for Star Music and Cornerstone Studio.
- Rogel Simon: Lead vocalist for the renowned Filipino metal band Valley Of Chrome.
Their single, “The Need to Breathe,” carries a unique signature. Due to logistical constraints, each band member recorded their parts separately in their personal spaces. This isolated recording process contributed to the song’s distinctive sound. The band considers “The Need to Breathe” a sentimental piece, believing it authentically captures the emotions experienced during its creation.
