Māori producer Montell2099 has done it again, this time blending two styles of bass effortlessly into one cohesive banger of a track – “BLICKY” – just in time for some end-of-summer madness.

After recently becoming the first ever New Zealander to perform at Tomorrowland, Montell shows no sign of slowing down. Having become a mainstay on Sable Valley records, he’s delivered yet another trap anthem that instantaneously pulls us out of our seats anytime it’s played. Then the drum n bass kicks in, and wherever you are promptly turns into a dancefloor. Co-signed and supported by both RL Grime and Netsky, Montell2099 is a certainly a producer that can bring out the best of both worlds with trap and DnB.
Montell also boasts an impressive resume of crossover from dance music to hip-hop/pop, including a collab with 21 Savage and remixes for Trippie Redd, Charli XCX and Troye Sivan.
