The ODD ball is a musical instrument in the shape of a ball; by connecting it to the included app, you can create sounds by bouncing and catching the rubber device with your fingers. You can use the app to trigger sounds, loop them, and layer them to create track ideas, all with the simple touch of a ball. There are also effects included in the app that allow you to customize your loops and make them sound unique. A library of sounds is available within the ODD ball app, including disco, grime, rock, arcade, and more. You can also quantize any of your bounces to lock down the timing and keep the process enjoyable.

The ball can also be used as a MIDI controller by connecting it to your DAW and bouncing it around the studio, triggering samples and altering parameters as you go. The ODD ball was originally funded through a Kickstarter campaign and is now available for purchase for £89.
