Midnight Rebels’ Midnight Playground Tour Returns to Butuan City
Following the success of last year’s Midnight Takeover, MOFFS is once again hosting a thrilling two-night event. Thanks to Bacardi and Almont Hotel, this exciting event coincides with Butuan City’s Balangay Festival. MIDNIGHT PLAYGROUND, a project dedicated to promoting Filipino DJs, brings its unique style to Mindanao, with Butuan as its first stop, followed by Dipolog, Dapitan, and Davao cities. Showcasing Filipino Electronic Music Artists
MIDNIGHT PLAYGROUND is more than just a party; it’s a movement that aims to spotlight the diversity of Filipino electronic music artists. Both established and up-and-coming DJs will perform, showcasing a blend of fresh sounds and seasoned talent. The tour encourages exploration of electronic dance music, breathing new life into the genre and providing a platform for bars and clubs to showcase their individual styles and atmospheres.
Featured DJs
Katsy Lee brings her exciting stage presence and high energy to the event. Having performed at Ultra Music Festival Europe and won the Pioneer Philippines Digital DJ Battle, she’s a prominent figure in the nightlife scene.
Florosso, hailing from Dipolog City, is a rising star who has performed across the Philippines and was part of the previous MIDNIGHT TAKEOVER tour.
Michiko Tateno, recipient of the Best Up and Coming DJ Award of 2023-2024 from Sessions Academy, brings her creative skills and unique style to the event.
Curse & Bless, an industry icon, draws diverse influences to produce distinctive auditory experiences. As the creator of Bass N’ Bacon and Midnight Rebels, his role as a visionary in the Philippine electronic dance music scene is significant.
Joining them are MOFFS Resident DJs and MCs: Mark Petate, Rey Comiling, Syn Lambo, Xyrelle, and MC Ian, ensuring the energy remains high throughout the night.
