KÀRA MÀR IS THE FIRST AI-DRIVEN SOCIAL ARTIST TO PUBLISH AN ALBUM ON SPOTIFY

Earlier this year, Sensorium Galaxy launched the debut album of Kàra Màr, an AI-powered DJ produced by the company. It is claimed that they are the first AI-driven social artist to release a full-length album on Spotify, according to the metaverse company.

Even though we’ve seen artificial intelligence (AI) artists do live DJ sets and produce songs, we haven’t yet seen a whole album posted on the streaming giant. Known as Anthropic Principle, the pounding techno album consists of eight instrumental pieces, each of which, according to Sensorium Galaxy, links Kàra Màr directly to their back story:

Meet Kàra Màr, an AI-empowered virtual artist from Sensorium Galaxy metaverse ahead of their first performance in PRISM World. Cutting-edge look, non-binary gender. As their back-story tells, Berlin-based techno DJ and producer make for a special case in today’s electronic music game. Artificial intelligence researcher by trade, they leverage science to boost their creative force and vice versa.

Mubert’s patented AI technology is used to power Kàra Màr, as well as the other artificial intelligence systems currently in production by Sensorium Galaxy. They will perform inside Sensorium Galaxy’s virtual PRISM environment, among artists such as David Guetta, Carl Cox, Steve Aoki, Armin van Buuren, and a host of other AI-powered performers.
