Cebu’s Summer Madness Takes It Back To The Shores of Moalboal

Being a local, it has been a dream for me to get to experience the overall vibes of a festival as a DJ here in Cebu. As what I have said over a million times, Cebuanos sure know how to party. Recaps of Sinulog and Oktoberfest parties had me splurging to seek out more artists to discover, listen to, and as well as come to know in the future. Enough about the reminiscing but let’s talk about the big dog in the room coming this May 17th in Moalboal, Summer Madness Music Festival.

For years, this festival has stood as a significant event in Cebu’s electronic dance music scene, drawing crowds and creating unforgettable memories. Now, as it gears up for its 11th edition on May 17, 2025, at the scenic Basdako White Beach in Moalboal, Cebu, Summer Madness promises another day of incredible music and community, powered by Southern Elite Production, Co. and co-presented by Club Serena Resort. Major sponsorships include PLDT, Smart Communications, Casino Active, Nature’s Spring Water, and Pepsi.

This year, the festival will feature three distinct stages, each offering a unique atmosphere and genre focus. The Main Stage will host a roster of popular DJs with headliners including Ron Poe, Kate Jagdon, John Odin, CHARLZ, Teejay Subahri, Nishhh, NJR, Powerspoonz, Mr. M and Carol M, Coolie Dread and the Microphone Commanders, the dynamic duo Stepbros (Amz Moreno x Frac Attack), Xiomara, Clark Justin, MCs AJ, Dwight, Trixx, and special guest performance from Jaron Teves.

As the sun dips down, the Sunset Stage will provide the perfect backdrop for its lineup of talented artists. Groove to the sets of Kris Que, Geo Fajardo, John Harvey, Ross Kelley, RVD, Franky, Skates, Dan P, Jhun Luis, Earl Bargamento, Lexi Moore, AV Youngin, Elliot, Louie Nebria, Kit, James Roldan, and John Loi.

For those looking for a different rhythmic experience, the Tribal Stage will showcase the captivating sounds of Ubecada Percs and Brownskin Riddim. Immerse yourself in the primal energy and percussive journeys offered on this stage.
