Celia & Perah designed R3 with the DIY aspect at its core. Building the speaker is part of the experience, offering users a chance to learn about the engineering behind the superior sound quality.
R3 is easy to assemble (under an hour) and customizable. Users can even personalize the color to match their décor.
Features and Specifications
The R3 DIY Bluetooth Speaker boasts several features: Bluetooth connectivity, an auxiliary input jack, a USB port, and an FM radio. Celia & Perah spent two years perfecting the sound quality, resulting in a high-fidelity audio experience. The energy-efficient 30W Class-D amplifier contributes to the speaker’s exceptional performance and minimizes heat generation.
What’s in the Box
The R3 package includes: two 2-inch 48mm 8W full-range drivers, a 16-watt RMS amplifier, an FM/volume knob, a function knob, a PCBA, connecting cables, and wool felt covering. It’s available in black or white. Clear assembly instructions are provided. Each speaker offers a frequency response of 68-20,000 Hz and an 8-hour battery life. Bluetooth 4.0 EDR+ provides a ten-meter transmission range.
