After doing some gigs that, tbh, didn’t really satisfy my creative soul, playing songs that I’m personally not really into, I knew my fellow DJs also felt this way at times. I wanted to give a venue for the DJs here to play what they really enjoy, including myself, and push their creative bounds, and to simply hang out with them.

The success of the first event, the expansion to Aqua Beach Club, and the popular duo sets showcase the power of collaboration and creativity. The positive response reinforces NO REQUESTS’ goal: to empower DJs to share their music authentically.
One standout moment, I think, would be the number of people who came out to support the very first time. We, as a group, didn’t expect it, but it definitely warmed our hearts. It showed us that people are truly interested! Also, since it was the first time we were able to hear every DJ’s set, so fun to experience their true sounds! The second event, a lot of DJs did duo sets, so the teamwork was a beautiful thing to see, kudos to Melvin and Jhelou with an amazing set, the energy they brought along with their skills. We even held one party at Aqua Beach Club, we surpassed our personal goal for this event and it was the best vibes throughout the day/night.

With growing popularity in Pampanga, the question of expansion arises. DJ Kikoman envisions growth driven by shared love for music and new friendships. While expansion is possible, the current quarterly schedule allows for rest and maintaining excitement.
