After a seven-year hiatus, the legendary To The Streets event is back, poised to reclaim its title as a leading celebration of streetwear, urban lifestyle, and music. The event, renowned for uniting DJs from diverse scenes—from house and techno to bass music—has always served as a meeting point for nightlife and street culture, connecting fans of hip-hop, R&B, and everything in between. This groundbreaking event promises a nostalgic look back at hip-hop’s golden age while showcasing fresh sounds set to define the next generation of nightlife.

For an inside look at this highly anticipated comeback, we spoke with Ace Ramos, the visionary founder of To The Streets, to learn about the event’s origins and its new direction.
An Icon Returns: The Vision of Ace Ramos
Despite his busy schedule and event preparations, we were able to chat with Ace Ramos.
The First To The Streets Event
Ace Ramos: The first To The Streets took place on March 24, 2017. The goal was to create an event that celebrated all facets of street culture—streetwear, street photography, and hip-hop music. We aimed to provide a space for those who connect with this lifestyle to gather, enjoy themselves, and find inspiration.
The 2024 Revival
Ace Ramos: After seven years, it felt like the right time to bring it back, particularly in Quezon City. This year, there’s a special focus on R&B and hip-hop music. The street culture scene has grown, and I’m excited to reconnect with the community in a more meaningful way.
The DJ Lineup
Ace Ramos: This year’s lineup is a mix of established and emerging talent—a blend of classic hip-hop and fresh sounds. We have iconic DJs like Raze, Aryan, Alex Wong, Maddgic, and Miggy, alongside newer artists such as Siangyoo and Bry Cheung. They each have unique styles but share a love for hip-hop and R&B that I believe will resonate strongly with everyone.
This year, Ace Ramos is joined by co-host and partner Warren Z. Together, they are preparing to make this To The Streets an event to remember. Set against the backdrop of Gilley’s Night Club in Quezon City, the 2024 event will offer a fresh take on the original streetwear-meets-music concept, with DJs spinning the latest in R&B and hip-hop.
