Short for “back to back” — two (sometimes three) DJs sharing one set, trading tracks in real time instead of playing separate solo slots. At its best it’s a genuine creative dialogue: each DJ reading the other’s selection and answering it, rather than just alternating songs. Became a festival marquee format in its own right once headliner pairings started getting billed as events on their own.
