Kobeast’s journey into the world of electronic music began unexpectedly. Initially drawn to metal music, his involvement with his father’s sound system company during his freshman year of high school exposed him to the electrifying performances of DJs. This sparked his passion, and the rest, as they say, is history.

His musical influences are diverse, blending local legends like John Sedano, Jet Boado, Marxx Monterola, and Mars Miranda with international giants such as Kaskade. This eclectic mix shapes his distinctive sound, contributing to his unique presence in Manila’s nightlife.

Kobeast describes Manila’s electronic music community as a dynamic mix. While mainstream tracks are essential for broader appeal, he emphasizes the need for artists to carve out their unique spaces.
