Hydro Music Festival 2024: EDM’s Return to Manila
The electronic dance music (EDM) scene in Manila is poised for a significant resurgence with the return of the Hydro Music Festival on August 24, 2024. This year’s festival will take place at the larger Bridgetown venue in Pasig City, promising a redefined EDM experience.
Headliners and Lineup
Headlining the event is international sensation Laidback Luke, whose infectious music and talent have captivated audiences globally. His presence at Hydro Manila is a bold statement, signaling the festival’s aim to elevate EDM’s cultural status and attract a new generation of fans.
Joining Laidback Luke on the main stage is a diverse mix of local artists, including the soulful Ben&Ben and Arthur Nery, and pop artist James Reid. This eclectic lineup ensures a varied musical experience for all attendees.

Hydro Manila also serves as a platform for showcasing local DJs and MCs. Attendees can enjoy the unique styles of DJ Ron Poe, DJ Marc Marasigan, DJ Siangyoo, DJ Arra Gunio, and DJ Jade Gultiano. Strodano (VJ Stro x John Sedano) and Secret Pocket (Jaro Cab x Razikyle Enciso x MC DM) will provide the visual and audio elements. MCs Chunk, Ice Rosales, and Earl Grey will keep the energy high throughout the festival.
