Yu-Gi-Oh! Previously available only on consoles and PC, the Master Duel surprise is now available on mobile devices as well.
Cross-platform progression and cross-play, which means that players can transfer their progress from consoles to mobile devices and duel on the go, were previously announced for the game. There are over 10,000 cards in the game, as well as events and tournaments in a variety of formats.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was well received, and by the next day, it had risen to the third most popular game on Steam in terms of concurrent players. This elevated it above games such as Apex Legends and Grand Theft Auto V, which have large player bases and are consistently ranked among the top five games on Steam’s chart. After a short period of time, the game reached a peak player count of 219,368. At the time of writing, the game has 112,942 active players, nearly a month after its initial release date. This number only included Steam users; it did not include players on other platforms such as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or the Nintendo Switch.
