At the moment, users may get their hands on Dead By Daylight and While True: learn() for free via the Epic Games Store. Beginning on December 9, these titles will be rotated out in favor of the Godfall Challenger Edition and Prison Architect, respectively.
Prison Architect is a video game in which players assume the role of a prison warden. In order to be successful, wardens must ensure that inmates are housed as safely as possible. Players may design meticulous jail layouts, assign guards to shifts, and hire crucial personnel. Prison Architect will present players with difficulties to which they will need to respond. It could be anything from tunneling convicts making their way to freedom to an entire facility being forced into lockdown. Players will also need to be on their toes in order to spot contraband that has been brought into the venue.
“Allocate resources to optimize your compound, but don’t impede the flow of the population lest you experience a flood, a fire, a battle, or a full-blown riot,” according to the Epic Games Store description. “Provide your prison with top-notch personnel, including armed guards, psychiatrists, medics, lawyers, and informants, to ensure that it is mostly ethical and safe.”
Godfall Challenger Edition is a limited-edition version of Godfall that does not feature any of the story content from the original game. The system does not require any input from the player and instead automatically levels up a character to 50 while also equipping them with weapons and armor. Players who are using the new Challenger Edition will be able to compete against those who are using the standard edition. Players can also choose to upgrade to the deluxe edition, which includes the story content from the original game as well as the Fire and Darkness expansion.
