Stray, a lovely kitty adventure game developed by BlueTwelve Studios, has slithered its way to viral status, with the release of the game becoming a buzzword on social media this week. Now, we finally know who is behind the charming meows seen in Stray.
Although our ginger furball in Stray does not look anything like Lala, she has the same adorable personality as the in-game cat. We have no idea how difficult it must be to get Lala to meow when prompted or to record the many of emotions conveyed by her meows, but we can imagine that it required a lot of affection and tasty goodies.
Stray puts cats in the spotlight by incorporating some of their most endearing qualities as well as some of their more peculiar peculiarities into engaging gameplay experiences. The primary objective of the game is to solve puzzles, and players accomplish this by interacting with their surroundings and navigating the world with the ginger feline protagonist’s natural dexterity.

Optional contextual interactions, on the other hand, allow players to thoroughly immerse themselves in feline life by scratching furniture, knocking goods off tables, and cuddling up for a little nap. Players can do all of these things as their cat character. Stray is distinguished by a particular feature that enables players to meow whenever they please by clicking a button designated specifically for that purpose. Players are able to recognize each other at a moment’s notice simply based on the vocalization of the playable kitten.
