Individuals in the world’s most developed mobile markets spent an astounding 4.8 hours per day on their mobile devices, with countries such as Indonesia and Singapore ranking among the top 10.
Consumers will spend US$170 billion on apps in 2021, representing a 19% increase over the previous year. Downloads have continued to grow at a five percent rate year over year, reaching a total of 230 billion apps downloaded.
Publishers aren’t slowing down either, as two million new apps and games were released last year, bringing the total number of new apps and games released to 21 million since the beginning of 2011.
