A shipwreck and a revolution occur during the story of Red Dead Redemption 2, causing players to travel to Guarma under difficult circumstances. There is no way for players to return to the island once the chapter on it has been completed in the vanilla version of the game.
All of that has changed as a result of Trelawny’s Travel, a mod developed by El-Drewsifer.
PCGamesN discovered that Trelawny’s Travel transforms Guarma into a resort “where you can unwind to the fullest,” with a plethora of activities to assist Arthur in his efforts to relax. There are many activities available, such as hot air balloon rides, sailing around on steamboats, swimming with turtles, and driving a buggy through the mountains surrounding the resort.
There are a variety of other non-traditional holiday activities available, including panther hunting, clearing out zombie hordes in the area, and dealing with O’Driscoll gang members – though all of this is optional, so those looking for a relaxing getaway are not required to participate.
The mod can be downloaded from its Nexus Mods page, and the only requirement is that the Script Hook RDR2 mod be installed first. Having said that, it does state that certain modifications are “highly recommended.”
Additionally, the page provides instructions on how to operate the resort’s hot air balloon, though it cautions that players should avoid flying too high in case they “get stuck to the ceiling.” It also mentions that “the island of Guarma is actually about the same size as the entire story map, so plan your trips accordingly,” according to the document.
After installing Trelawny’s Travel, players can begin their vacation by visiting the docks of Saint Denis, which are located on the island of Saint Denis.
