MIDNIGHTREBELS-ANALOGUE

ORDERS FOR ANALOGUE POCKET WILL BE ACCEPTED AGAIN ON DECEMBER 14TH

On December 13th, Analogue will finally begin distributing its throwback Pocket console, which has been in development for quite some time. If you weren’t able to secure a pre-order the first time around, don’t worry, because the company will resume sales the following day at 11 a.m. ET.

According to first-come, first-served basis, orders will be placed into three fulfillment batches: January to March 2022, October to December 2022, and 2023, with the first batch being filled in January. However, “as a result of industry-wide component pricing increases,” the price of the console will rise by $20, to $219, effective immediately. If you’re still on the fence, Analogue points out that reviews will be published on Monday, which may help you decide. In any situation, you have the option to cancel your order at any point prior to it being shipped.

The Analogue Pocket has been in development for quite some time. The portable, which can play Game Boy, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, and Atari Lynx games from their original cartridges, was initially scheduled to launch in 2020, but has since been delayed. In the meantime, Analogue was forced to defer the system many times due to challenges caused in part by the COVID-19 epidemic as well as worldwide supply chain issues.
