No Mortal Kombat but New Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 at EVO 2022
The next installment of the gory fighting game Mortal Kombat was not demonstrated at the EVO 2022 weekend convention, so fans will have to continue to hold their breath until the game is officially announced. Fans were looking forward to it, despite the fact that Ed Boon had already warned us not to anticipate anything concerning Mortal Kombat. However, there is a proverb that says hope is the thing that lasts the longest.
Fans of fighting games can be pretty satisfied even without the inclusion of MK, and this teaser for the next Tekken installment is worth a look. Maybe not Tekken 8 because it’s possible that it will be a spin-off like Tekken Tag Tournament 3, but it seems more likely that Bandai Namco will release the eighth installment in the main series.
In the video appears to be Kazuya Mishima, the protagonist of the series and a disruptor in Smash Bros., from the first Tekken as he is throwing his father, an unloving psychopath, down a cliff. It then transitions to the current version of Kazuya, which has him with a scar and a red eye, along with the caption GET READY, which may signal that a trailer is going to be released very soon. The graphics are gorgeous, sharp, and modern.
As stated earlier, the most likely contender is Tekken 8. Even the Nvidia GeForce Now database that was stolen contained references to it. In addition, on August 17, Banda Namco made the announcement that they would be releasing a free update for Tekken 7 that, in addition to adjusting the game’s overall balance, will also offer new strategies. More than nine million copies of this game have been sold.
After the completion of the Street Fighter 5 tournament that was being held at EVO 2022, a new trailer for what’s to come was shown to the audience. Street Fighter 6. A student gets involved in the battle between Kimberley and Juri, the taekwondo instructor.
Take a look at the video. The PC and console versions of the game are scheduled to become available in 2023. Capcom had previously stated that they would be utilizing the RE engine for the game’s development.
