Children from Metro Manila’s street children are being helped by the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Philippines League (MPL-PH) and ChildHope, who are working together to help them rebuild their lives. The league will make a donation to the charity in the form of cash and medical supplies, including masks and hygiene kits.
Seminars and talks will also be organized by the league in order to inspire and educate young people about esports and gaming-related topics. MPL-PH will also invite esports athletes to share their stories about their professional journey, gaming tips, and how they manage their time between studying and competing in tournaments.
MPL-PH will explore more long-term opportunities with ChildHope, including a meet-and-greet with professional players and talents to inspire the next generation of Filipino athletes. Sponsors and partners of the league will make individual contributions to the cause.
The program will expand over time to include more MPL-PH partners, such as Smart Communications, Inc., OPPO, Alaxan, ANTA, and Enervon Activ, in order to give back to the community. Smart Communications, Inc. is a subsidiary of OPPO.
Using their School-in-a-Bag Program, Smart Communications, Inc. will provide ChildHope beneficiaries with digital learning tools such as laptops, tablets, and portable WiFi to enable them to participate in distance learning classes from home.

More information about the collaboration between MPL-PH and ChildHope can be found on their official website.
