The developers of this game, Quantum Peaks, are also one-of-a-kind in the gaming industry as a whole, as the team is made up of teachers and students from Thailand’s Thammasat University’s Faculty of Game Development, located in Bangkok.
Thailand-based cartoonist Mindmelody created the Joojee and Friends franchise, which served as the inspiration for the game’s design. Throughout Thailand, these brightly colored characters can be found on a wide variety of products, including clothing.
Joojee’s Journey is a whimsical narrative adventure in which players take on the role of Joojee, a lovable bunny who wakes up one day and finds herself without her memory. As the player explores this cartoony world, they will come across touching and humorous character backstories.
Players must assist Joojee on her journey to recover lost memories while also assisting others in overcoming their own difficulties. Joojee is armed with nothing more than her charm and a mysterious magic brush that allows her to enter anyone’s mind.
Aside from the challenging platformer sequences, there are also brain-teasing riddles and puzzles to solve along the way. As a result, for players who want to focus on the game’s wholesome story, Assist Mode can be enabled, which allows them to skip challenging obstacles if they so desire.
Pre-order the game on the Nintendo eShop today and you’ll receive a 20 percent discount on your purchase. Joojee’s Journey will be released in English, French, Japanese, and Thai on November 11, with additional languages becoming available after the initial release.
