Garden Story, released earlier this year, delighted audiences around the world with its cutesy charm and whimsical story. The Nintendo Indie World Showcase featured a surprise sneak preview of the game, which was then released in stealth on the Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac.
In terms of action gameplay, this wholesome RPG draws inspiration from games such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and the Animal Crossing series, while maintaining its own unique vibe and atmosphere.
Picogram, the Filipino-American who created Garden Story, stated, “Garden Story is inspired by generations of different migrant people whose love and courage have brought me to where I am today. Dedicated to them and the wonderful stories that they will never have the opportunity to tell. “

The Garden Story takes place in a small, hidden land known as The Grove, where one can find a massive tree brimming with mana, which serves as the setting. The great tree is surrounded by four settlements: the Spring Hamlet, the Autumn Town, the Winter Glade, and the Summer Bar.
Each region appointed honorable citizens to serve as Guardians, resulting in safe and happy neighborhoods. However, the villages are now in a state of disrepair, and the age of the Guardians appears to be drawing to a conclusion.
Check the daily request board for tasks that will benefit the community, such as gathering resources to assist local shopkeepers, repairing bridges to ensure safe passage for citizens, and battling the invasive entities collectively known as Rot, among other things.

Prepare for the challenges that lie ahead by becoming proficient with tools that can be used for both combat and harvesting. To do so, equip each tool with valuable resources, then explore the most obscure corners of the dungeons and take on the bosses who are threatening the peace of The Grove.
As players assist the residents of The Grove and earn valuable memories in the process, they will be able to unlock useful perks such as increased stamina, run speed, and health, as well as other unique abilities.
Players must also collect schematics from various locations around the world, which they can then use in the game’s convenient toolbox to construct benches, request boards, town storage containers, and other more decorative items such as umbrellas.
Grahm Nesbitt, who also composed the music for Floppy Knights and Goodbye Doggy, is responsible for the warm acoustic instrumentation and catchy synth beats that accompany Concord’s adventures.
Garden Story is now available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch, on Steam for PC and Mac, and on the Epic Games Store.
