FINAL FANTASY X OST – LIMITED EDITION VINYL

Many gamers consider Final Fantasy X to be a watershed moment in their lives. A large part of what made this game special, aside from the incredible visual achievements and possibly the best story on the PlayStation 2 at the time of its release, is the music.

The technological and storytelling innovations behind Final Fantasy X were phenomenal, and they continue to have an impact on a large number of other games today, despite the fact that the game was released a few years later. Final Fantasy X’s soundtrack will be released on vinyl picture disc in October, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the game’s release. The artwork for the disc comes from the game itself. In Japan, the game is published by Square Enix, which also produces anime and manga in addition to video games.

It was originally released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2 as the series’ tenth installment, and it takes place in the fantasy world of Spira. It is an action-adventure role-playing video game. Throughout the game, the plot revolves around a group of adventurers, including the player character Tidus, who are on a quest to defeat Sin, a monstrous creature. As a result of the game’s improved 3D graphics for greater realism, it was the first in the series to include voice acting. It was also the first game in the series to feature a multiplayer mode.

In addition to composing the music for a large portion of the Final Fantasy series, Nobuo Uematsu also worked on this project. Furthermore, his compositions were included on the soundtracks for the PC games Lost Odyssey and Chrono Trigger. With Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, and Junya Nakano, the Final Fantasy X soundtrack came to life.

This is the main theme of Final Fantasy X, which can be translated as “Isn’t It Wonderful?” A folk singer, Ritsuki Nakano, performed the song, which was written by Uematsu and Kazushige Nojima.

FANS FAVORITE:

In 2001, DigiCube released the Final Fantasy X Original Soundtrack on four compact discs, which was re-released by Square Enix a year later. Nineteen tracks from the film’s original score will be included on the collectible vinyl edition.

It will be released on limited vinyl on October 27th, and you can find out more about it here as well as the artwork and tracklisting for the soundtrack.
