MIDNIGHTREBELS-DEAD BY DAYLIGHT

‘Dead By Daylight’ Creators May Be Working on a Spin-off Dating Simulator

Behaviour Interactive, the company behind the Dead By Daylight video game, has filed a trademark for what appears to be a spin-off dating simulator.

A trademark filing at the United States Patent and Trademark Office appears to confirm that Behaviour Interactive is considering developing a romantic spin-off of the asymmetrical multiplayer game. While no such romantic spin-off has been confirmed.

According to the game’s official description, Hooked On You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim, it doesn’t appear that the game could be anything other than a dating sim in that universe. The filing, which was discovered by TechRaptor, was made on February 16 and is currently considered “live,” which means that it is in fact active at the time of writing.

Aside from the name, the trademark only reveals that this is, in fact, a video game, which means that the full game could be released at some point in the future.

On the other hand, Sadako, an upcoming killer in Dead By Daylight, has been terrifying streamers on the game’s menu, and it’s been a pleasure to watch. Sadako Rising will premiere on March 8 and will feature Sadako as well as a new survivor named Yoichi Asakawa.
