This week, Respawn Entertainment officially announced the soft launch date for Apex Legends Mobile, a mobile battle royale game that has been highly anticipated since its announcement last year. In addition to being developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, Apex Legends Mobile is also the mobile counterpart to the popular PC and console battle royale game of the same name (EA). Apex Legends Mobile will be soft launched in select regions for Android devices only at first, with the rest of the world to follow. More information on the release date of Apex Legends Mobile for iOS devices has not yet been released by Respawn Entertainment, which is expected soon.
Last year, Apex Legends mobile was subjected to a series of early access and beta tests in various regions around the world. According to Respawn Entertainment, the game appears to be nearly finished and ready for release at this point.
Initially, Apex Legends Mobile will only be available for download in the following countries: Argentina, Columbia, Mexico, Peru, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia (including the Philippines), New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. However, at least for the time being, it will only be available through the Google Play Store for Android devices.
Respawn Entertainment did not provide an exact date for the soft launch of Apex Legends Mobile, only that it would take place in the coming weeks. Fans, on the other hand, can pre-register to be among the first to play the mobile battle royale title when it launches on iOS and Android devices.
However, there is still no word on when the Apex Legends Mobile game will be released for iOS devices. According to the developers, the game will be released on a global scale shortly after its soft launch in North America. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for any further developments in the near future.
