ADIDAS HAS UNVEILED A NEW XBOX 360-INSPIRED SNEAKERS

This year, Microsoft is commemorating the Xbox’s 20th anniversary with a second themed Adidas sneaker: the Xbox 360 Forum Mid.

The Xbox 360 design is a continuation of the first Xbox / Adidas collaboration, which was announced in October and was inspired by the original Xbox gaming console. The Xbox 360 Forum Mid, on the other hand, is decked out in the 360’s white, silver, and green color scheme for a 2005-era look, complete with a slew of subtle details that nod to the console’s origins. The disc tray from the 360, for example, is imprinted on the velcro strap, while the air vents and Xbox button are visible on the outside of the case. Even the heel has been designed to resemble the memory card and hard drive slots on the device. The shoe will also come with laces in the colors red, yellow, green, and blue, which will correspond to the A, B, X, and Y buttons on the Xbox 360 controller.

A third model, which is said to be inspired by the Xbox Series X, will be unveiled on November 15th during a celebratory stream for the 20th anniversary of Xbox and Halo, and will serve as the final installment in the sneaker trilogy, according to Microsoft and Adidas.

The Xbox 360 Forum Mid will be available for purchase, as opposed to the original Xbox collaboration (which was only available as a limited edition for giveaways). The sneaker will go on sale in the United States and Canada on November 4th at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET on Adidas’ website, although there is no word on how much it will cost. But if demand is anything like it was for the next-generation Xbox Series X, Series S, and even the Xbox mini-fridge, you’ll probably need a healthy dose of luck.
