MIDNIGHTREBELS-MASSAGE

THIS IS A SHIATSU HAND MASSAGER DESINED SPECIFICALLY FOR GAMERS

We all know someone who plays games for hours on end, possibly exhausting their hands. A Japanese company called Bauhutte has created a hand massager for gamers.

For each finger on the MSG-01H-BK hand massager, there is a 15-layer airbag, and for the palm, there is a shiatsu plate. It can be used with either hand. There are two main options: a Shiatsu mode that works on the entire hand and a finger-stretching mode that works on the fingers only.

In addition to a few different intensity settings, there’s an optional hand warmer that’s supposed to improve circulation. In order to massage your thumb, you’ll need to slide your hand in sideways. After ten minutes, the hand massager automatically shuts down and turns off. Bauhutte recommends that you use the device before gaming sessions to warm up your hands, during breaks, and afterward to cool down after you’ve finished.

However absurd the idea of a hand massager for gamers may seem to some people, it is not completely absurd in its execution. Between rounds, many esports competitors rely on hand warmers to absorb moisture, keep their fingers toasty, and improve blood circulation. Several esports organizations hire a masseuse to keep their players in peak physical condition.

Other companies have produced hand massagers, so it is understandable that Bauhutte is targeting gamers with its version of the product. In addition to its gaming bed, which garnered attention last year, the company also sells a wide range of furniture and accessories designed specifically for gamers, such as a portable foot massager.

For the time being, Bauhutte’s hand massager is only available in Japan, where it costs approximately $150. As Kotaku points out, the company has an English-language website, so it is possible that the device will be available in other countries as well.
