Apex Legends’ latest collection event has a piratical theme to it, with various legends receiving cosmetics that are patterned after pirates. Valkyrie, Loba, Revenant, Bloodhound, Pathfinder, Wattson, and Wraith are just a few of the characters. The legendary Revenant skin, which gives the robotic assassin a salty beard, is a particular highlight of this collection. There is a weapon that goes with each of the skins, and these weapons may be obtained in either the premium currency collection or gained through games on the reward tracker.
The Winter Express will also be making a comeback to Apex Legends. In each of the previous two winters, there has been a limited-time mode available to players. Players will select a legend who will be equipped with a rotating loadout. Afterwards, they will enter the fray and compete to be the last team standing on the roving winter express train. The points awarded for each round are one point, and players will respawn once a round is completed. The winning team is the one who scores three points first.
Wattson is also the most recent legend to be honored with an Heirloom award. These melee weapons are extremely difficult to get, and they have been awarded to a number of legendary figures over the years. Heirlooms are merely ornamental substitutes for fists, and they do not cause any more harm. To obtain Wattson’s Energy Reader, players will need to complete the collection event by unlocking all 24 collectibles, which will require them to spend a significant amount of real-world money.
Wattson will also benefit from a number of bug fixes included in the update:
- Fixed the issue with fences “sticking” when trying to place a node near a fence.
- Fixed bug for cases where Wattson’s Fence nodes ignored player collision.
- Fixed bug with the blueprint line not showing up to signify where the fence will be created.
- Fixed issue where Caustic’s Ultimate isn’t zapped by the Interception Pylon.
- Fixed bug where Arc Stars could stick to and damage the Interception Pylon
The event’s website contains comprehensive information about the fixes. The Raider’s Collection Event will begin on December 7th.
