We thought it would be fun to see what some of our favorite video game, television, and movie characters would look like in the real world using a new artificial intelligence tool called StyleCLIP, which allows you to turn images into realistic faces.
In any case, we can say that social media (particularly Twitter) is flooded with video game characters who have been transformed with StyleCLIP, ranging from Street Fighter fighters to the GTA V trio, passing through John Marston from Red Dead Redemption, Kratos from God of War, Nathan Drake from Uncharted and many others.
StyleCLIP is a recent addition to the growing number of artificial intelligence (AI) tools that allow you to do a variety of things with photos. There is a more in-depth explanation available here, with StyleCLIP being described as “basically Photoshop driven by text, with all of the good, bad, and chaos that entails.” As a result, Nathan Drake may appear to be your cousin, and Michael from Grand Theft Auto V may not appear to be too dissimilar from your boss.
If you want to give it a try, you can do so by downloading the StyleCLIP software.
